Patio season is the best season.⠀
So Chi, can you take the daily rain off the forecast? Thanks.
Here’s another capture of one of my favorite creations. ✨
Today, I said to my therapist, “Now that I’m more aware of triggers, weeks with anxiety are more exhausting. Its like, trigger then thought then reframing the thought, over & over.”
It’s as if awareness brings healing, but healing makes you sleepy.
She replied by saying that it’s one of those things you can’t really step away of once you dive in, awareness changes everything. You can go back to “ignorance is bliss” but it will come out in other ways.
Just some post-therapy ramblings amidst a week with a full brain & a full heart.. I’ll also add, I headed straight home to take a nap with the fluff ball. Sometimes you should just listen when your body tells you to sleep more.
There’s something about a cup of coffee outside in Ohio that just makes it taste better.
It was a gift to witness the fourth annual Four Leaf Clover Run come alive this weekend.
Amazed at all the time and effort put into this special event by my dad. 💚🍀
Trampoline quickly climbed to the top of my wishlist this weekend.
... you know, for that huge backyard I have in Chicago.
That’s the word for this season of life.⠀
The thing about growth is it starts small, and the hard work that’s being done is under the surface, unseen but constant.⠀
Lately I’ve shifted into the season of growth where the buds are showing. Where it’s undeniable that work has been put in. Where the beauty is visible, not just searchable. & it feels good.⠀
I’m antsy for consistent summer weather... 🤓
Day dreaming of lakefront hangs, long bike rides, patio sitting, fests & picnics.
Ended my work week by making this beauty’s vision for her hair come alive.
We did a Balayage + a lob + a loose wave to enhance that “lived in” look, & I’m obsessed.
We also got to spend a whole lot of time together this weekend & it was such a treat.
